Our MissionThe 1840 Equity Project creates owner-occupied, financially attainable, agri-inspired communities for the essential workforce and moderate-income professionals who earn too much for subsidies but not enough for market rate housing.
By connecting land, home ownership and community, we close the gap between earning and owning, creating pathways to equity and financial freedom. We are catalysts for a new kind of community—one where ownership is attainable, land is stewardedresponsibly, and the people who protect, teach, heal, and build our communities can afford to live in them.
